Who are we?
Aloha Summer Weekender is an exclusive, invitation-level experience designed to preserve and transmit the legacy of Latin dance. It is a carefully curated weekend of intimate learning and genuine connection with the world’s most influential Latin dance legends.
Here, you don’t just take classes. You learn with them, you dance with them, you get to know the people who shaped the art we love. It is a space for inspiration, mentorship, and honoring the lineage—the shoulders we stand on as dancers, artists, and community. We are not here for crowds, we are here for connection.
Aloha Summer Weekender exists to bring dancers closer—to the masters, to the roots, and to the legacy of Latin dance itself. This weekend is about proximity. One-on-one moments, shared floors, real conversations. It is about learning from the legends who built the foundation we dance on today—and honoring the shoulders we stand on as we move forward.
This is not a congress. This is not a festival. This is legacy, in paradise.
MEET OUR FEATURED GUEST ARTISTS
Alien Ramirez from Cuba
24X Latin Dance World Champion, Titles include Salsa Cabaret, Solo Salsa, Bachata, and Hustle in elite divisions. Her dancing is celebrated for flavor, elegance, and sensuality — blending strong technical training with authentic Cuban and Latin expression. She’s respected not just as a performer, but as a teacher and judge, shaping dancers and salsa communities globally. Alien Ramirez is widely considered one of the most influential women in competitive salsa and Latin dance — a world champion, global instructor, and cultural ambassador for Cuban/Latin dance. We're pleased that Alien is returning to the Weekender for the second time this year!
Martin Gonzalez from Mêxico
He is internationally recognized as a World Champion. Co-Founder of the legendary Alma Latina Dance Company, He is the Director and Founder of Studio 29, where he leads the artistic vision and training of emerging and professional dancers.
Through competition, performance, and mentorship, Martin has built a reputation for discipline, innovation, and high-level artistry, positioning him as a respected figure in the global dance community.
